The <strong>richness of its landscapes<\/strong> and the charm of its hamlets are well worth the detour. The bay of Quiberon is part, as the Gulf of Morbihan, of the international association of the &#8220;<strong>Club of the most beautiful bays of the world<\/strong>&#8220;. Renowned for its <strong>sunshine<\/strong>, it also offers <strong>coves sheltered<\/strong> from the wind where you can swim in a calm sea. The Quiberon peninsula is a territory with a <strong>rich heritage<\/strong>, both historical and cultural as well as natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t miss, during your escapade, <strong>the former reserve<\/strong> of crustaceans of the southwestern point, the <strong>late 19<sup>th<\/sup> century residences<\/strong> which border the <strong>large beach<\/strong>of Quiberon, <strong>the history of the shipwrecked boats<\/strong> at the house of the inheritance, the <strong>tower of Locmaria<\/strong>and the exceptional panorama which it offers on the bay, the <strong>botanical path<\/strong> of the wash-house of the Ragot, or the <strong>charming villages<\/strong> of Kern\u00e9, Kernavest, or Man\u00e9meur.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<h3>The islands of Quiberon Bay<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Several companies offer <strong>boat<\/strong>trips from Quiberon to the islands of the bay : <strong>Belle-\u00cele-en-Mer<\/strong>, Ho\u00ebdic and Houat are the three<strong>islands of the bay<\/strong>to visit from <strong>Port Maria.<\/strong> Several<strong>round trips<\/strong> per day are scheduled for each island : 5 to 12 depending on the season for Belle-\u00cele, and 2 to 5 for <strong>Houat and Ho\u00ebdic<\/strong>. Each of these islands, formerly linked to Quiberon, has its own charm : <strong>calm and serenity<\/strong> on the island of Houat, <strong>softness and authenticity<\/strong> on the island of Ho\u00ebdic, <strong>contrasting landscapes<\/strong> and <strong>picturesque villages<\/strong>on Belle-\u00cele-en-Mer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t have time to visit the islands of the bay, don&#8217;t hesitate to <strong>stroll through the ports<\/strong> of Quiberon : a former sardine port, Port Maria has the second largest <strong>municipal fish market<\/strong> in Brittany after Lorient. <strong>Port Haliguen<\/strong> is the main marina of Quiberon.
