The Submarine Base<\/strong>: a trip back to the last century. Discover a place full of history. When you reach the terrace, you will have a beautiful view of Saint-Nazaire, the bridge and the Estuary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But also many beaches…<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the agenda of your visit to Saint-Nazaire: swimming, sunbathing, sand castles… Offered to the west wind, the beaches are sheltered by pines and green oaks. Long stretches of fine sand or small steep coves, among the 20 beaches in the town, you are bound to find the one that suits you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vill\u00e8s-Martin: the beach in town.<\/strong> It’s easy to get there for a picnic or a lunch break. It is one of five supervised beaches with showers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Courance: the surfers’ spot.<\/strong> Sunbathe on a fine sandy beach overlooking brilliant blue water. It is accessible to all and ideal for relaxing and practising water sports. It is also supervised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grand Traict: a corner of the Mediterranean.<\/strong> A small corner of tranquillity for those who love calm and wild beaches. However, this tranquillity has to be earned, as the stairs leading to the cove are a bit steep.
